William Ward died on 27 Jan 1860 his death was recorded on the 1860 Mortality Schedule for Greene Co Ill. The document indicates he was 54 years old or born 1804 or 1805 depending on his actual birth date. William was listed as a Widower on the Schedule
Lucinda (Duncan/Anderson ) Ward died 1858, preceding William in Death. Both parents were reportedly born in N.Carolina . Some confusion occurred when James Hardin Ward purchased a headstone for Lucinda Ward in the year 1915 and that year was mistakenly used as when she died. Lucinda was probably born in N. Carolina just proir to 1800. All but one record states William Ward was born in Tennessee around 1800..
William T Ward and Mahala were listed as 15 , or both born 1835, (twins?) all other records show William Taylor Ward was born 1836-7, in Kentucky, and Mahala was born 1838, in Illinois.
