BEULA B HARRISON, 80, of Las Cruces passed away from this world in the early evening of Monday, November 2, 1992. Beula was born in Healdton, Oklahoma in 1911 and came to Las Cruces in 1923. She was married to J.L. Harrison in 1929 and had one son, William L. (Bud) Harrison.

Beula was active in the First Baptist Church of Las Cruces, busy with twenty-five years of teaching primary age children, working on the library staff, and most recently as a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class. Beula was last employed by Kriegel & Co. Ltd, a CPA firm of Las Cruces.

Beula is survived by J.L. Harrison of Las Cruces her husband of sixty-three years; one son, Bud Harrison and his wife, Dianna of Dublin, California; two grandsons, Jay Harrison, his wife Laura and their son Travis all of Costa Mesa, California and Scott Harrison and his wife, Jo of Travis AFB in California; one brother, Jeff Ward and his wife, Jessy of Hatch, New Mexico; also by many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 1992 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 1992 at the First Baptist Church of Las Cruces. Interment will follow as she is laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Dr. Charles O. Price.
