Francis Marion (Frank) Ward was the seventh child of William and Lucinda Ward
and was born in Greene Co. Illinois.in the year 1843.
Francis married (1) Susan Whiteside on Dec 24, 1863 in Greene Co. Illinois. Francis
enlisted in the Illinois 61st Volunteer Infantry in 1864 and served untill the end of
the Civil War .
He married (2) Sarah D. Trimble in Greene Co Ill, on 20 Sept, 1883. He was found
living with Sarah as his wife on the 1880 U S Census enumeration.
