Martha Jane Sides, 76, of Mt. Olive died Monday, June 25, 2001 at 3:36 p.m. at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

She was born in Bingham, IL on March 3, 1925, a daughter of Earnest Leroy and Lillie Mae Rhodes Cole.
She attended Nokomis schools. She married Ralph Leo Sides on December 28, 1946 in Nokomis, and he preceded her in death on May 6, 1998.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph, a sister Gladys Roe and four brothers Victor, Claude, Vernon and Rueben Cole.

Visitation will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2001, at Becker and Son Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Mt. Olive City Cemetery.
