**Note; Since we have encountered different spellings of Sintha's given name Sintha,(Cyntha) C Gilliland, Ward. Both spellings were popular in those days, but we originally believed it was the latter (Cyntha). Tom Ward found a deed dated 1863 from Wm T Ward & Wife "Sintha" where she signed her name as Sintha Ward. I would tend to believe that she would know how to spell her name. RW
