Death of Centenarian
J. S.(sic) STEED, aged 103 years, died at the home of his daughter MRS. JULIA A WARD on Caddo Street. at 1 p. m. yesterday. Mr. Steed had just lit his pipe and was holding it when death overtook him. The remains will be interred at Lone Grove cemetery today beside the remains of his wife who died two years ago.
